is it possible that my 2 MO is teething?she is extra crabby and drooling...chewing on her wrist, quiets a bit whhen i rub her gums...is she teething? is that even possible at 2 months????<br><br>

Yes, but most babies teeth for months on end. It seems like forever. Dd has been teething since 2.5 mos and still no teeth yet. (She's 5 mos now)<br><br>
My sister's baby got teeth before 4 mos though - three of them, so it just depends on your genetic history.

I think it's a definite possibility, mostly because my 9 week old had a tooth poke out a few days ago. <img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="http://www.mothering.com/discussions/images/smilies/wink1.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="wink1"> Dd did the same when she was 4 months old though it took months for it to come in any more than that first little speck.

It's totally possible. My nephew (now almost one) had two teeth before he turned 12 weeks. Maybe not average or normal, but possible! But at that age, they do a lot of chewing and drooling anyway, so it may not correlate.
