When do babies start taking 1 nap a day instead of 2? My 9 mo only took one the other day and I can't remember when ds1 did. Maybe before a year.

All of mine were down to one nap by 1 year. I can't remember when it started though.

Mine was down to one nap a day around 11 months old or so.

Ds is sort of, kind of, just dipping his toes into the idea of 1 nap a day and he is 1 yo (10.5 mo adjusted). Mostly he still needs both.

dd1 was closer to 18 months when she moved down to one nap a day

My DD quit the second nap at 6.5 months.

baby #2 - 8 months
baby #3 - at 7 months he's still taking 3 naps per day

All so different. You never know. Just listen to your baby.

My SIL's youngest was 3 before he dropped his second nap!!
