Working tomorrow while TED and frozen milk is possibly "contaminated". Should I give formula in the morning. I could possibly bring her in with me and feed her when she's hungry, but it might just be chaos in the office. I have just enough to feed her and don't think i'll be able to pump out a new batch before tomorrow morning.

If DD is allergic or sensitive to coconut (not sure yet), would putting the oil ON her skin to moisturize cause a reaction like it would through breastmilk? She looks so much worse this morning and I'm on day 4 of TED...

Maybe she accidently ate some when I rubbed it on her chin and she rubbed her face against my breast to scratch then latched on???

Thanks so much mamas! I feel like I'm on this thread every day!

I've seen people mention putting a food on the skin to see if redness/irritation results as sort of a pre-test for a food (perhaps a food taken out before, before re-introduction, or to see if a currently-eaten food is problematic), so I'd consider the coconut in the moisturizer (though there could be other things as well, or maybe something in your TED is causing problems). And I can say that my husband's skin turned reddish under the eggwhite that I tried a few nights ago ( ). Mine didn't.

I don't know if formula during a TED is better or worse than old, pre-TED milk. If formula isn't a usual supplement (either you've never used it before, or you don't use it regularly or haven't for several weeks/a month) then I'd probably vote for the milk simply for how it promotes a better balance in the gut, bacteria-wise. Formula definitely changes the bacterial balance in the gut, even just a bottle, so if you haven't been doing it before, I wouldn't start now.
