I went for my first 2 mile walk 3 days pp. I went for my first 2 mile jog 3 weeks pp.
The things to worry about are bleeding (you might make it worse), engorgement (you might get a plugged duct), exhaustion (leading to other problems) and joint problems (resulting from hormones to relax those hips). My rule of thumb is to listen to my body and do no more. Forget rules like "you must wait xx weeks before you can do anything." Hogwash.
