Someone else must have posted something about this somewhere else but so far I can't find it. I saw a program on 20/20 about breastfeeding ads that will never make it to their tv spots. The ads were considerably watered down it looks in part due to pressure from the formula companies of course.
The dept of health and human services has put them together in conjunction with an ad agency that no longer wants anything to do with the ads b/c they've been watered down so much.

I wanted to post the phone number and address of the Dept. of Health and Human Services for those who would like to let them know how you feel about the new ads.

Incidentally I am republican and I do like Bush however this is something that I do not approve of and am happy to be able to voice my opinion regarding it and hopefully if enough people do the breastfeeding advocacy groups will have a stronger stand.
Oh this is the article on the HHD's website concerning this topic. I am glad that it's being addressed I just hope that it's given the weight that it deserves.
