And apparently insomnia is building along with the excitement.

Have fun you two! I know Im probably not the norm but I enjoy having ultrasounds. Not to many by a couple to tell me that everything is normal and healthy.

Scan was good, baby looks pretty good although BPD was smaller than expected but they said not to worry.

Anterior placenta.

Homebirth OKed.

I have been suffering tthrush for 14 weeks and done EVERYTHING. Ob today said that sometimes this happens and to treat it only when it becomes a real issue.

I learned that I am apparently 'emotionally detached' and I am to be watched carerfully etc due tomental health issues (ok, detachment bit coming into play) ITS NOT THAT BAD. If someone lives in a cushy house with cushy money and a cushy childhood, of course they are going to think that my small appartment, with skint money situation and not great childhood is a bit crap and liable to make me mental HOWEVER I do have some issues and finally someone is taking me seriously and has discovered that the reason I am so, I don't know, the reason I seem so unaffected y certain things is because I do not connect to it, I am totally disconnected and now and again I must makee a connectin which kinda throws me off kilter. So FINALLY, I have a psychiatric dude, who is actually interested and has agreed that my mood swings and reactions to anti depressants are not normal and do need to be looked at. HOWeVER, I am 27 bloody years old noww, I have been asking for this for YEARS and wasted most my life trying to deal with it myself and self meedicate witht drugs and alcohol not tto mention regaining control through self harm and eating disorders.

Aaaaaaaaaaaaaargh.

Anyway, worth while appointment. Thee Obstetrician was great. She said 'so, thinking toward the delivery (yeah, cos ordered my baby from the internet baby company) what are you thinking of'? And then before I could say anything, she said ' As if I don't already know', I said 'yeah, a homeirth'. So, thats all good (but I have homebirthed before and am in the UK so its hardly surprising).

The only other thing was that we couldn't get a good image of babies genitals so no ideda what sex it is.

Its all so exciting now!!!!! Even DH seemed kinda up abut it.

Oh, and just to make you chuckle.

A couple of years ago I had a doctor say to me as I was leaving my appointment 'I am sorry you have had such a crap life',he was SOOOOOOOOO, serious. I left the room and LMAO.

The Psych guy I saw today spent of the appointment with his mouth hanging open with eyes open wide, it was kinda funny, anyway, at the end of the appointment he said as he shook my hand 'I commend you as a person for all you have been through and all you manage to do at the moment'. I said 'yeah, but compared to some people, what I have been through is nothing'.

Anyway, that was my day today!

I'm so glad you're finally getting the mental health assistance you need. It's so undertreated and can be so debilitating. I hope things start getting better for you soon.
