I am starting to feel overwhelmed by my 22 mo olds need to nurse at night. Sometimes he will fall asleep in the car, but mostly the only way to get him to sleep in by nursing. We want to start ttc in the next month or so & I keep panicing about what will I do when I have a new babe & still have to nurse DS. He is still wakeing at night depending on the night 2-12 times (yes soem night he is like a newborn). Dh is not a big help with this kind of stuff because he works during the day & is useless if he doesn't get decent sleep.

DS has never been a good sleeper. I want to be ok with it, but I worry about my energy level during pregnancy & then having to nurse 2 all night long. I have concidered trying to night wean but DS screams bloody murder if i don't nurse him at night & then it just upsets everyone & makes it that much harder for him to go back to sleep. Going to bed the only way I can get him to stay still long enough to fall asleep is to nurse. I'd love your suggestions or comments, but I am guessing the magic answer is not out there. Maybe I just need to vent & acknowledge my feelings.

No need to panic. I've nursed through getting pregnant a whole bunch of times, and nursed through a whole bunch of pregnancies. As have many other mamas here. And it works out just fine.

Don't worry. Be happy.
