<p>Hey everyone. Baby is usually moving like crazy  like 3 times a day and then a little here and there the rest of the day, but in the last few days the movement seems to be less frequent.  Is this normal at this time? I can't remember.  I think everything is ok, but I like to feel baby lots, it's reassuring.</p>

<p>I was thinking about this today.  I'm 25 weeks also and looked up when to start kick counts because I was worried with very little moment today.  She came alive tonight. I  wouldn't worry to much.  I would try and eat something sweet and go lay down and see how many you get in an hour.  If you are worried call your midwife/ob and they can check it for you.</p>

I think it's totally normal to go up and down. Last week I wasn't feeling much movement- definitely less than I had previously... and this week it's almost nonstop!! <img alt="lol.gif" class="bbcode_smiley" src="http://files.mothering.com/images/smilies/lol.gif">

<p>Over the last few weeks I have had lots of groups of days with a lot of movement and days with not much movement... I also get worried on  the days with less movement but then soon come more!</p>

<p>I think in my case some of it is just slower days for the baby but also babies positioning.  I am purely guessing on this but I think when head down feet to front I feel everything, feet to back not as much, feet down not as much (and I have an anterior placenta so that can block some positions too!).</p>

<p>I think it is totally normal as long as you are still feeling something occasionally and I would expect it to pick up again etc.</p>

<p>Same thing happened here, and it concerned me. But for the past several days, movement has picked up again and is much stronger! I'm 27 weeks now. Also, when I was around 25 weeks and experiencing less movement, I googled it and found a lot of other moms talking about the same thing happening at that stage. Not sure why exactly, but it seems to be pretty common!</p>

<p>I had a couple of days like that a few weeks ago.  I think part of it was baby's position.  I also think some days are just different than others.  Right after that slow down, the baby's pattern changed.  That may have been part of it, too.  I was so used to feeling movement at certain times, that when it didn't happen I worried.</p>

<p>I think a lot of it has to do with position, too.  I feel really lucky that I have a fetoscope and I know how to use it. LOL  Whenever one baby seems to be moving much less, I pull it out and reassure myself.  My midwife liked that I can keep an eye on that myself, too.  They are fairly inexpensive (some can be found for $20), if it's something you want to pick up for yourself.  It takes a bit of patience and determination to learn to use it, though.  </p>

<p>I'm having days with a lot less movement too. This time I can often feel that he's in a different position but sometimes it's just a low movement day.</p>
<p>With DD she seemed to have 3 days on, 3 days off. It was SOOO nerve-racking! It still makes me nervous every time it happens even though</p>

<p>ETA: I agree with the fetoscope idea. We just have an inexpensive stethoscope I use to find the HB. It was $15-$20 at a medical supply store.</p>

It sure does. I can only get the heartbeat about 1 in every 5 tries with my fetoscope.
