Ds is 7 months and large I use a stretch wrap, MT or ring sling. He will only tolerate being worn in the front. I've tried a hip carry and find that I feel off balance.
I try for little bits on my back with the wrap, MT and structured backpack...and he hates it. Plus he pulls my hair
:
He doesn't like his stroller anymore so I NEED to carry him.

I'm very proud of how strong I've become carrying him, but my back and shoulders are starting to ache with 25lbs on my front.
How do I get him to like it back there?
btw, we don't have a car, so sometimes 5 hour stretches I wear him.

Do you do a high back carry? I know that when my DS was about that age, he preferred back carries where he could see over my shoulder. That way he can see my face and what I was doing. You can do it with your MT and your wrap.

I second the high back carry! Just tie the waist strap under your boobs, hehe, and I am sure you know the rest! It may take your babe some getting used to, its alot different than being snuggled up front!
