My son is down to nursing at night and in the morning (and a few latchons during the night - we all sleep in one big bed, and I hardly know when he is nursing at night, unless he pets my face some times!) ... but for the past few days there has been no morning nursing. Now he is not nursing to sleep, either... he nurses for a bit, turns over, and asks me to pet his back as he goes to sleep.

Are we weaning here? Kinda sounds like it, right?

Sounds like he is getting close. My DS still asks maybe 3 times a day, and I let him 2-3 times depending on what we are doing. He is also 3.5.

DD will be four on the first and she only really nurses before bed and during the night. Once in a great while, if she is having a rough day, she will ask to nurse during the day. Its been this way since around 3-3.5 but she is still not ready to wean. I have asked her if she still needs her "creamies" and she told me yes. So I am not pushing it or counting on it ending soon. DD just has a routine that works for her, both for nutrition and comfort needs so I am not rocking the boat.
