I do right now too

We went camping this weekend, so I have our truck. I have a ff Boulevard, a rf Boulevard and a highback booster in the back seat of a full size 4 door chevy truck. Although, my kids do mind being that close, but they live.

Yup, it can be done. I had a Sunshine Kids Radian forward-facing, a Graco SafeSeat1 rear-facing, and a Britax Wizard rear-facing in the backseat of a Pontiac Grand Am.

BTW, Sunshine Kids Radians are the narrowest convertable seat on the market.
YOu can EASILY get three across with those.

That's awesome Emma's Mommy! I've done 2 forward facing convertables and 1 rear facing convertable in my Sequoia. 2 of them are Britax, which are BIG. I am not sure I could fit 3 forward facing Britax. Luckily, I have a third row in the gas hog.

We used to have a Corolla, and had a 2 forward facing convertables and an infant seat in it. Now we drive a 97 pathfinder with a rearfacing scenera, and two ffacing graco seats (can't recall names). It can most definitely be done with the correct seats. We were rearended in our Corolla--pretty slow speed collision, but still quite a jolt, and the seats did their job perfectly--everyone was totally fine.

We used to fit three seats in DH's Maxima ('94) and that worked out alright, but we are SO MUCH HAPPIER now that we have a minivan. We still stick them in the Maxima sometimes (the older two have booster seats so it is even easier now) if the van is not working quite right or whatever, and it works. The problem we ran into with three in the sedan is that we couldn't pick anyone else up, the car was absolutely full, and we like to drive places with family/friends and often had family over visiting that didn't have their own cars. When we only had the Maxima, we had to make multiple trips to go anywhere all together, or leave someone behind
, and that sucked.

We discovered that most cars will fit some combination of three seats in the back, but not all will fit three convertibles (which worked in the Maxima but did not work in our previous car).

We have fit three FF convertibles in my friend's Volvo station wagon and also in my Saturn station wagon. One was a Britax Marathon, one was a Britax Roundabout and one was something a bit smaller, I don't remember the brand. That one had to go in the middle to make room for the two Britaxs! LOL

It's awesome!
