Why did I feel like a person going through withdrawal without MDC this weekend?
Missed you all

Those of you who wanted copies of the article were:
chiromama
adina
anyone else?

Oh, and I finally read it- it's about media representations of fertile/infertile women and it discusses issues of class/race as they relate. I'm making copies today so I'll get them out to whoever wants.

How is everyone?

Subscribing to this thread! Perfect name for it as that is how I feel every month

I am on CD18 and I got a positive OPK 3 days ago but my temp has yet to go up : Of course, between ds, dh and dk (dear kitty) they have all interupted my sleep at one point on each of those days so Im wondering if that has anything to do with it... VERY frustrating... Im charting one more cycle after this then heading to a new dr. with all my info and getting some help. If the OPK was right, we GIO with perfect timing.

So you can move me over to waiting to know. I usually start spotting about 8dpo so I have a very short wait

I missed everyone this weekend, I know I read more then I post but I have been thinking fertile thoughts for you all

Oh man I practically got the shakes this weekend. JK :LOL But I did really miss you all.

Sweet Teach I would like the article too.

Well I am on Cd 4. Last month was a day longer than usual. : I hate it when Af does that to me. This is my first month using mama cloth, and my period has been lighter and less crampy. Though that may also be caused by the supplements I am taking. Speaking of which I am running out of vitex, so if any one knows a good place to get more LMK. I may go check in at the local health food store and see what they have.

I am going to go check out the end of last weeks thread and see if I am missing anything. Hugs to you all.

Adina...so sorry to see you back to the top of the list. Hugs to you.

I have to wait five more days...My good news of the day is that my 7dpo progesterone was good. I was supplementing just in case but I can stop now. Just 5 more day.

Just wanted to say thank you for two raks I recieved recently: kokopeli necklace and spices and a candle and soap (can't remember which was in which package right now, my head is kinda foggy, cause it is so stuffed up!)

Anyway, I've got a cold. From the airplane, most likely (M has it to). I'm going back to bed for a nap!

Belly Blessings everyone!

Hi all. Ohh I missed these boards. Dd has been sick as a dog for the last 4 days, so we've been laying low. I'm not charting this month, but I had some good eggwhite around cd 14, so we gio just for the heck of it. Then I had a dry day and another round of ewcm on cd 17, so I have no idea what to think. In addition to not temping, I decided not to take the progesterone this month. So, I guess I'll just wait to see.

I have mostly wanted to log on to let SweetTeach know that I had a very vivid dream that we were all posting on a thread congratulating you on your bfp. I have a pretty reliable prophetic dream track record and I hope it holds up now!!

Time to stuff myself with more leftovers!

so...dh left this morning for a week visiting old friends. About an hour later, I started cramping. No red yet, but my hopes are very very low. I took some ibuprofen because I dont want to feel the cramps. I'm at cd 27 and just had my first clomid-profasi-iui cycle. I have a friend from europe visiting her family just 3 hours away and I cant even get in my damn car to go spend a day with her. I feel like a loser, and totally selfish. But I know other friends of hers would be there and the topic would come up one way or another and I cant handle it.
It was so hard to finally bite the bullet and start down the medical path but it's been almost two years since my m/c, I dont want to wait any more! I guess I was hoping for a clomid fairytale ending. Hey, I'll take whatever fairytale comes my way....if af shows, I just hope she shows in time for me to go get a good movie, some wine and whatever other treats!
I guess it's not over til it's over and af-like cramps can be a symptom but I feel like I'm hanging by a thread. I hope you're all doing much better.
hugs to all
Hi Gals,

It seems like it's been forever. Turkey day was pretty good. I was a little sad about another milestone passing without being pregnant, but mostly I was able to enjoy myself.

Of possible interest to those who aren't coverred by insurance and paying for fertility treatments out of pocket:

Here's something to check into

NCIID from the Heart Program

I was in my doctor's office looking at a copy of Conceive magazine and I saw an announcement about a new program to donate cycles of treatment to those who are unable to afford it, and not covered by insurance. It's worth a shot.

As for me, Clomid seems to be the gift that keeps on giving. The symptoms from taking it seem to be outlasting the actual act of taking it. I am still irritable, and even nauseaus.

My day 11 test feel on a Sunday, and I discovered this on Saturday so I had to get blood tests on Saturday and Monday and was pretty hysterical because on Saturday when we got to the lab they had closed the door 15 minutes early, and if DH hadn't been there I could have gotten myself in serious trouble.

I know it's doing something because I started getting "High" readings on my monitor right away, and I got a peak 3 days earlier than usual.

News
While the boards were down, I learned to matress stitch for sewing things together, and perfected picking up stitches, (okay perfected is a little strong) and am pretty close to finishing a set of 6 month overalls. Getting over my sewing phobia is a big step for me. I also have most of a really fuzzy baby cardigan done, which knits up really quick, but is hard to do at first because yarn is so fuzzy you can't see what you are doing. I'm already starting to get anxious about not having another project lined up.

I guess my link is not working to this thread....hmmmm, finally decided to check in, because I thought it was weird no one had posted!

Marie, the ride on this fertility journey just stinks, doesn't it??

Lexie, glad the colors were good, it 'looked' like you!

Wow Joanna, you ARE techno savvy!

Just hangin' in there, no news or anything The sad thing is, I don't get that excited anymore. Especially after last cycle, I learned my lesson.
