34 week prenatal today!

ACK! I can't believe how close I'm getting! The next few weeks are going to seem like a blur.

My fundus is measuring way, way ahead, so I'm getting ANOTHER u/s

: on Wednesday before I see the OB again. Apparently, I'm measuring like I should be due any day. I'm not really sure why they care that the baby is big. I mean, even the OB said that it's just genetics. I guess it's a good thing we did IVF, or I'd be getting pressured into upping my EDD, and possibly having a preemie.

All the pain that I've been having up under my right ribs is apparently my gallbladder being pinched between my uterus and my ribcage. That's why it's been slowly worsening over the last few weeks, and is a bajillion times worse when dd moves. I hate being so shortwaisted. They prescribed me painkillers, which I really don't want to take, but I don't know what to do. Even with them, I still hurt pretty bad, but it takes the edge off enough, that I'm not crying out in pain and gasping for breath.

Part of me kind of hopes that if she's still measuring way ahead that they'll do an amnio, when I hit 37 weeks and just section me then, if it shows her lungs are good. I know I shouldn't think like that, but I am in excruciating pain now from my gallbladder, and I cannot possibly fathom 5.5 more weeks until I have this baby!

I so wish I could have uneventful and normal conceptions, prenancies and births.

At least, I can bf!

My 34 wk app. is on Tuesday. I've been measuring bigger since like my, 24-26th wk. We were wondering about twins since I haven't had any u/s but now that the baby is getting MUCH bigger, I think I can tell there's just one in there but still, I'm measuring at least 2 cn. bigger. (which I guess is normal)

Sheesh, just today I was thinking, "I can't believe that Saturday is April 1st already!" I pretty much have like, A month left.

So little time...so much to do!

Yeah, I was measuring 38-39cm, which I guess they don't consider normal. When I was only measuring 1-2cm ahead a few weeks ago, they didn't really care, but now they do. And, they know I'm only having one. Such a PITA.

Cat! Let's hope that the trials this little girl has been putting you through is no indication of what to expect when she hits puberty!

Hopefully it will be quite the opposite- I was an angel baby and a completely out of control teenager.

Either way hang in there! I can't wait to hear how big she winds up being...we're thinking ours will either arrive close to a month early or my tiny body will deliver us a linebacker right on time.
