Getting nervous and excited.... My main worry is care for my 4 year old during labor because everyone I know is at least an hour away! I've been having contractions on and off since the middle of June, and because my last labor was short the midwives are guessing this one will be about 2 hours (though I know you never know). Don't know whether to dance with excitement or pray for some help!!!

Good luck to you. I had my membranes swept yesterday too, but I'm 6cm dilated. I was 6cm with DD too when they broke my water. Today is my due date. If I wasn't planning a UC I would strongly consider letting them break my water again.

Woke up this morning with LOTS of show! Hoping this is it! My roommate is away so I'm hoping to do homebirth (she's not comfortable with it, and if she's home I'll have to transfer to the hospital
Sucks, but we respect eachother, and I am renting from her, so....

Last night at 10pm I was lying down and all of a sudden started to leak (somewhere between a gush and a trickle). When I got to the toilet I passed a clot about the size of a ping pong ball and a LOT of pink blood. Freaked out I called my midwife, she came by checked, and everything was alright, so I was sent back to sleep because I had no contractions. Then at 5am -- Niagara Falls! I just woke up again and am going for a walk to hopefully get this moving.... where are my contractions???
