o.k., this little baby is really putting me through the ringer. I just noticed my first stretch marks, EVER! This is so depressing. I even managed to make it through 36 weeks with twins without any. Ironically this is the first time I've been good about moisturizer. I guess no more gloating about how amazing elastic my skin is

It may disappear once you have the babe! I didn't get them with my twins either, yet I got a few with my daughter and they disappeared after I had her. I didn't even notice them again until my pg with my surro son, and even then didn't see them until third tri (and again, disappeared after he was born and my tummy went back down).

Ha, i got mine when i was 11 and put on my pre-puberty puppy fat! I got them when i was hypothyroid and heavier, when i had DD and i have them now! I'm blonde so they seem to come on really easy, but they fade super fast too (i have ones on my stomach which are 4cm long but only the top cm where the growth is still pulling the skin is actually red). Ah well, map of motherhood, scars of battle, badge of honour, blah blah blah

I got my first stretch marks with this babe too. I think it's because he sits so low because they are only on my hips and upper thighs. I'm glad they're not on my belly too but man I'm going to have a hard time finding a bathing suit now, maybe I'll just always wear a sarong at the pool.

I'm actually the opposite this time. I got stretch marks horribly with DD. Stomach, thighs, hips, everywhere. DS1 I got a few, DS2 I got a few more. This time...nothing. HOWEVER, DH got 2 on his stomach over the last couple of months.

LOL! I got them with my 3rd pregnancy. Just 3 on the left lower side of my belly. But they faded quickly after birth. And now with this 4th pregnancy, nada. Soooo weird, i blame it on my surrodaughter since she wasn't carrying my genetics lol!

It is funny how even after we think we have this pregnancy/birth thing down pat, we get thrown for a total loop and get surprised by SOMETHING! I'm amazed that with twins you didn't get any...no wonder you are shocked! This baby must be stretching a different area.

My belly itself has had very few in the past...I tend to get them on my hip area...why must the weight go there????? LOL So far no new ones, but I never discount it until AFTER I give birth because I can't exactly see every part of my body yet and I know if I say I don't have any this time, they'll surprise me!

I got some stretch marks on my thighs and hips with my first pregnancy that are very large and always visible, haven't gone away, but this pregnancy I am actually starting to see alittle bit of stretching on my tummy down low. Not big stretch marks like on my sides, but more like my capillaries are bursting or something like that, I'm not exactly sure. I hope these ones will go away I was so happy to have no stretch marks on my belly atleast.
