Right now my two boys (3 yrs and 20 months) are RFing in the 3rd row. Ds2 is about to outgrow the Marathon for RFing and we have bought a new Radian XT. Because there is a captains chair directly in front of his seat (we removed the other one for ease of access), the XT won't fit there. I was thinking to leave the Marathon where it is and put dd (6 mo) in the Marathon. The XT can go in the cap seat.<br><br>
Fine. But I realized that I'm not so comfy having dd in the 3rd row. How safe *is the third row? We have a 1992 Mitsubishi Delica and it's pretty tall.

I have been told the 3rd row is safe because you have the crumple zone in the cargo area behind it, but I don't feel like it is safe. I do have to put a child back there but not often as DD is in school when we run our errands so is only with me 1 a month or so where as the 2 littles are with me every time I go anywhere.<br><br>
I hate having any child back there...
