I am posting here wondering what you guys have experienced. Dd will be 6 in March and we LOVE sleeping together. We nursed until she was a month shy of 4 and she said she was done(She has mentioned that she shouldn't have stopped so soon)! Daddy snores (LOUDLY) and ends up on the edge of our Cal. King bed, so he often ends up sleeping in another bedroom.Dh has lately mentioned that she might be ready to move to her room. Dd plans on sleeping in our bed forever (although she recently said she might sleep in her bed once in a while when she turns 7). I am not really sure how I feel about it. Just wondering what other families have experienced.Any reply is appreciated.

My dd is almost 5 and we cosleep with her, she has no interest in moving to her own bed. I am ok with that although my dh would love for her to be in her own bed (he ends up on the couch most nights ) I am from a family of cosleepers and my brother was the longest cosleeper between all of my siblings. I believe he was 6, closer to 7.
My thoughts are they will not be 16 and in our bed still, eventually my dd will decide that it is time and when she does I will transition her to her own bed in her room.
