I am not sure if I am in the right forum or not so please move me if need be. My 5 month old son has been wheezing for the past week or so when he gets really excited. He breaths normally when he is calm and he never has turned blue when it happens. When he was born he may have aspirated mec but it was never confirmed. If I took him to the ped. what kinds of test would he run on him and if it is a form of asthma what would the ped do? He has not shown ANY signs of being sick. He is a happy healthy baby. In fact it happens when he is laughing. Is it possible that he is doing it on purpose and thinks it is funny? Thanks for any help.
