about a month or so ago i stared to notice DS underwear were always a little wet. not enough to wet his pants, just his undies. i started to pay more attention to his body movements and noticed he's holding his pee until the last possible moment. i've tried talking to him about listening to his body and that his toys/games/whatever can wait just a minute while he goes. i remind him to go when i see him doing the "holding it dance". also, he will not change his underwear when they're wet. he'll sit all day in them if i don't check. i know someone will suggest getting him looked out to rule out UTI's and illnesses. i plan on it. is there anything i can do to work on getting his attention to go when he needs to go?

the timer might work. i'm trying to just pay attention to him and take him to the bathroom when i notice him squirming. i don't think i'd mind so much if it was for him not wanting to change his underwear.
