I believe Brodie was about 14 lbs. He is almost 10 months and just doubled his birth weight, at 17 lbs 10 oz.

Ds2 was 23 lbs at 6 months. I don't remember how much my other two weighed, but it wasn't that much!

DD weighed 20 lbs at 6 months (10.5 when she was born) and still at a year only weighs just over 22 lbs.

Mine is 18lbs 15 ozs at a 6 month visit so I voted for 19 lbs figuring it was more accurate than to say he was 18 lbs. He was born at 10 lbs 13 ozs.

My son was just over 15 pounds - almost exactly double his birthweight.
The nurse at our doctor's office said they look for babies to double by six months and triple by a year. I'm not sure if that's based on BF or FF babies but my son should be pretty close to tripling when he turns 1.

DS was 19lbs 13oz, no clue about DD since she is only 3 months now, but based on her growth so far, she is likely to be lower then that probably between 14 and 16 pounds.

My DD is still shy of 5 1/2 months, but she's almost 19lbs now, so I voted 19 or more.

ETA- she was 7lbs 15oz at birth.

Heh, I was just looking at their baby record books since I am cleaning the office.

My son was 16lbs and my daughter was 15lbs 15oz, so basically 16 lbs as well.

My big boy was 23 pounds at his 6month weigh in. He was 9'4'' at birth and had doubled his birth weight by 4 months.

Hmmm....I don't think this is quite right. I thought what they were looking for was for a child to hold steady in the same weight percentile throughout the first year.

I had gestational diabetes, so my dd's weight was probably somewhat artificially high (8lbs 9oz). At 6 months I think she was around 14.5lbs. Now at 9 months she's around 16 or 16.5lbs. I don't think she'll be anywhere near tripling her birth weight by one year. My pedi has had no concerns about her weight (it's been between the 25th and 50th percentile at every checkup).
