Just wondering... Is there anyone else out there who has been trying to obtain a particular diapering item for more than SIX MONTHS with no luck!

In my case it is a MM soaker and an FCB or LC fitted. I have been trying to get these since the day Willa was born, and I just cannot seem to do it. I am wondering if I should just quit now and enjoy the wonderful things I have. Anybody else....What are you trying desperately for and when do you decide to give up?

Are we all trying to get the same things? Is that the problem?

There has got to be a solution.

I have been trying for those very things including size 0's as I have no newborn stash really but I gave up along time ago, its just too stressful and the way I figure it is thats just a sign im not suppose to own anything like it lOL really if i were you and you really wanted it Id keep trying no harm no foul but dont stress when you dont get it

I saw it, and I LOVE those colors. I am a little worried it will be too small for us, but I am thinking about bidding if it doesn't go too high. I've got it on my watch list!

Are you loking for new or used?? I found some serious grovelling on the TP drew out some mamas who were kind enough to part with a few FCBs, RBs and LCs

Maybe I should resort to begging. I would be thrilled with used. Perhaps I will give that a try!

Here's the thing. As any good dog handler or casino owner knows, it is intermittent reward that keeps the interest. If you sit in front of that slot machine and it never spews out any money then you are eventually going to get up and leave. That's why they give you little wins every now and then just to keep you salivating (to go back to the dog analogy). I need one of those little wins! I don't mind the hunt, I just need the reward every now and then!

I think the problem is we are all trying for the same things, just about. I'm not really looking for more wool, though that Mosaic Moon stocking is calling my name!! I really do NEED fitted though, and try as I might, they're so hard to get!!

I love the colors of the one on ebay too~What size do you think your son wears

~I haven't had any luck myself with stalkings but have had luck with trading post and knowing other Mama's stashes

I think she would fit into the small/med right now but might outgrow it quickly. I was thinking either a med or med/large.

I think I was sounding a little whiny before. Sorry everyone. I am keeping faith! I will get these sometime soon! I will keep trying. I am going to battle with that shopping cart and one of these days I am going to WIN! You can't keep me down! I won't quit! Oversell me a thousand times and I'll just keep coming back! (I think I need a battle song here)!!!!!!

I have been lucky and gotten pretty much everything I have been dying to try but most times through a lot of work stalking the tp and ebay and sometimes paying more than the thing retails for. I have also been just really blessed a few times by sweet mamas here who have happended to have what I am looking for and are ready to get rid of it so I get it for a reasonable price.

Put what you are looking for in an ISO post on the tp and just keep bumping it up -- eventually someone will have it!

No, keep trying. I've been using cloth since January myself. It is sometimes harder to get some things more than others. For me, its Fluffymail. I counted myself as the stinkiest FM stalker that ever did live. That was until yesterday, though.
