So...
My 7mo dd is pulling herself up on anything and everything. Is there something that is good for her to do it on so she won't hurt herself? (The cat and our kitchen chairs seem to be her favorite and they are NOT my idea of safe...ha ha...) She is just landing on her face a lot and I can't seem to figure out how to help her out...Ideas? Do we just have to do lots of boo-boo nursing and hope she doesn't break something???

Both my kids were early movers, dd the earliest crawling at 5m, standing up at 6, walking at 9. I'm very much of the mindset that unless they are in real danger of hurting themselves badly, let them tumble, let them fall. I believe all those bumps and bruises, and we have many, are kind of a right of passage.

My ds also liked to pull up on kitchen chairs, and he took his share of falls. Your dear one will be falling less and less in the weeks to come. Just watch for things that are not stable (like a high chair w/ wheels, etc.)

Baby bones are soft for a reason! She'll be okay. Catch her when you can, nurse her when you can't, and hang on for a wild ride!
