: I am a CD mama using 7th Generation for 1 week on vacation and wondering about sizing. What size would you recommend? (Read: My dd is 16m and about 26-27lbs. She is in-between the 12-18month and the 12-24m size in clothing. She wears the M/L Motherease diaper cover.)

Also, I have read that some people are finding gels on their baby from the diaper. I am thinking of placing my rice paper disp. liners that I use with my CDs inside the disp. to keep the gels from contact with her skin. Good idea?

Finally, I have also read that people have had problems with the tabs cutting into their child's tummy and legs. Does anyone know if the co. has fixed this?

I'm a CD mama too who uses 7th Generation when we travel. My 6mo ds is also 26-27 pounds and we need to use the size 4 (22-37 pounds) size on him. Last time we used them he was more like 20 pounds and size 3 should still have fit but they were too tight. However, my son has big ol' thighs.

I haven't had any problems with gel. If I remember right 7th Generation doesn't use gel but the Nature Boy & Girl does?!?

They do have that weird disposable diaper smell, but it's not as bad as with more mainstream brands.

As far as the tabs go, I haven't had that problem if the diaper fits correctly, and in my situation they run small for by baby's bodytype.

hope that helps!
