Ok, if you know of another thread that discusses this, please pm me and let me know.
My 8 mo daughter spends most of the day time nakey. She goes down for naps on the bed with no diaper etc. She used to hold her pee until she woke up and I came to put her on the potty. Now, she wakes up, pees and then cries. I have to put her on an absorbent pad covered with a blanket for every nap and they are always wet after her nap. The laundry alone is getting overwhelming!
Does anyone have any advise for correcting this habit she's gotten into?

No advice for correcting it. It's something she'll outgrow, but frustrating for you while it lasts.

What's probably happening is that your daughter wakes up (you're probably running around in other rooms getting stuff done while she's napping), lays there for a few seconds or even minutes and then pees.

My daughter went through this. Luckily, it was at a time that she also was very predictable in how long she'd sleep-she always woke up after 90-100 minutes. So I'd pick her up at 85 minutes. If she woke up then, I'd put her on the potty. If not, I'd carry her around so that the motion would jostle her awake (but hopefully not jostle her too much, if you know what I mean! ) and then put her on the potty. She obviously was too full to hold it for more than a few seconds after waking up.

It's a bit more labor intensive, but worth it! (Like most EC!)

You're doing good momma!
