My 8 week old son has done nothing but nurse nonstop. I swear I am being sucked dry. I mean it is to the point that I relly can't even get up to pee or make myself food. DH is at work all day so I have little help. Is this nonstop nursing normal?

Yes, it's normal. Can you nurse in a sling? I know some people can (I've never been good at it), you could probably get more info at the babywearing forum.

Welcome to a growth spurt! It's either that or onsetting illness- completely totally normal and healthy. DS1 once nursed 18 straight hours with only catnaps. This too shall pass, as they say.

It's totally normal!! It's to build his supply up as he grows rapidly in the next few months. It is exhausting, but it does get better!! You may want to check some slings out...it really helps, and you can pee/eat while they nurse!! (Wait till you've perfected the panty-pulldown with a baby on the boob!!) <img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="http://www.mothering.com/discussions/images/smilies/lol.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="lol">
