My 8mo has 6 teeth. With each of them coming in, he has had lots of gas during the night. The first was especially bad - and now we are having difficulties with the sixth.

He cosleeps - in our bed. He has been nursing about every half hour and getting frustrated due to gas and burps. He normally is NOT gassy. My dh is wondering if my baby is having latch issues due to the new teeth and therefore taking in air. To me, his latch looks and feels good. Also, we only have this problem at night. I wonder if it is related to him lying flat at night. I'm thinking of having him sleep on my arm tonight, to see if that helps.

Any thoughts???

Our babies are close in age
Mine was born 4/2.

He actually hardly ever cries. He only was daytime-unhappy with the first tooth.

I was talking to our alternative practitioner, and she thinks it is probably just the normal digestive upset that happens with teething sometimes. I'm leaning toward believing that, as my baby is finally getting better.

I really hoping we can avoid a new tooth for awhile. We're just not ready for so many...
