OMG I looked at her past auctions (BTW her customers adore her stuff), and this: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...tem=4302449079 IS TO DIE FOR! I wish I had seen it when it was up for auction, I definatly woulda bid. Seems like I remember a thread on here about that patriotic and watermelon shorts set and she's an mdc mama, but I forget who.

Now I'm considering begging her to reproduce those blue/purple shorts for me--I luv em!

Those are auctions from our very own
P_B_&J, Julie. She does excellent work, and her soakers are gorgeous! I have 1 pair of rainbow shorts, and 2 more on the way. Mamas, if she opens a store, it's all over. :LOL She has a custom "patriotic" soaker on right now as well. I was recently out of town, and at the hotel, strangers where actually coming up to me and gushing over ds's rainbow shorts and asking where I had got them! I
them.

Okay...I'm done now. :LOL I hope you don't mind Julie.

Not to correct you like a lecturing busybody, butterfly mom, but it's actually a bit like a Mosaic Moon. Julie makes these using the Fern and Ferrie pattern, which is the same pattern Morwenna uses. The fit is different than a KS because it is fuller in the hips and wider in the crotch (both soaker types have lovely trim fits, don't get me wrong, just different). The legholes on the KS are angled in the opposite direction as the F&F soaker.

I see that Julie is using the cascade ecological wool, which is the same wool that I used for the soaker shorts in my gallery (see sig). It is lovely (feels like cotton, not wool), it doesn't pill, and it works wonderfully on my heavy wetter. It has a beautiful and light drape, so perfect soaker for summer (not thick and heavy).

Great work Julie!
