I went to my sister's new house to help her move in. Her new place is 2-3 hours from here, depending on the traffic. I took DD with me and, of course, ALL of her diapers - I didn't want to have to do laundry for the 3 days I was there. Well, in the flurry of packing up to go back home (and looking for my cell phone amid her packing boxes, etc) - I left my dirty diapers there!!! The worst is that I am leaving for an 11 day trip to the West on Saturday so it isn't like they can even be washed and easily sent to me in time for the trip. Did I mention that my sis has a 19m old and a new baby (5 weeks old) - a huge new house full of unpacked boxes and a husband who is halfway across the country for another month? She can barely go to the grocery, much less work on my dipes (and she is a 'sposie mama...). So I told her to just wash and dry them (even though I rinse, wash, rinse, then hang to dry the shells and dry the inserts/soakers) and give them to my mother when she passes through, to give to me when I get back from the West. In the meantime Eliza is wearing her last diaper (an old FB that I had in the drawer) and I will have to go out and get 'sposies tomorrow
Not to mention that I won't get to show off my dipes to my SILs out West (who would be suitably shocked
by them).
Darn it!!!!
Thanks for listening - I knew you would understand my angst!
Sorry to hear that. Your sister sounds like me except i just converted to CD. I had a 25 month old, a newborn, a brand new house with boxes left to unpack, my dh half a world away in Afghanistan. Yea it was a rough couple of weeks. LOL I hope you get them back soon.

yes! yes! Could she ship them priority tomorrow, then maybe they would get there when you do?
