Hmmmm...I don't have a problem with stiff hemp. I dry on medium heat.
However, the one time I had stiff hemp was the one time I hung mine in the sun to dry! I'm talking STIFF like cardboard!!! I had to wash and dry them in the dryer a few times to get them back to their prior softness.
