We are moving into a house with a small playroom (weirdly located in a door at the back of their tiny closet). I want to do different boards on the walls. I want to paint a magnet area with magnet paint, a chalkboard area with chalkboard paint, and a flannel area somehow gluing flannel to the wall (I am going to frame each area with molding). Any ideas on how to glue the flannel to the wall so it won't look bumpy?

How big do you plan to make it.

I hope to do somehting similar in our new house, I was hoping to glue the fabric into the frame of a cork board or something similar.

I think it would be easier to glue fabric neatly onto a board and attach that to the wall. Plus it's much easier to take down again when the children grow out of it.

ETA I like the spray adhesive for gluing fabric, with a light spray you get a chance to reposition it and smooth out any creases

Is the flannel board to be used as a felt board? I like the idea of having different boards for play, but hadn't heard of using flannel.
