My daughter and I just finished a really fun alphabet project together. It started out as something that I was just doing for myself, for fun, but my 5 yo saw me doing it and joined in, learning a lot in the process.

Basically, we walked around our farm looking for letters and taking pictures of them.

Oh, I know!

If I hadn't seen the project on Steph's blog (that she sniped from some wildlife page online), I would have just looked at that X in the sky and thought "That's cool" and gone on with my day. Instead, look what happened! Sniping ideas is a wonderful use of blogs.

We did something similar at the first of this school year. My 6 y o DD put on cute clothes, used food and the outdoors for the letters of the alphabet. It was really fun!!
