Not sure where to put this and I think this is the best spot. I just wanted to share what happened last night.
My daughter (11) is still in public school and her classmate needed a copy of a paper they had so the child's mother called and came to get the paper to make a copy to study over this weekend. I said something to her about my son (almost 9) being homeschooled. She proceeded to give me ideas and suggestions for putting him back in school.
I politely said, I know it seems a strange arrangement, yet it works for us. I tried public for him too and that didn't work. He learns much better with one-on-one teaching than a class of 20 students. She said, okay....if it works, okay.
I felt so good for simply stating how we do things and sticking to it...
