Hi!
I remember reading a reply in which a mom commented she couldn't find any wooden dinosaurs for her DD that loved them. I just came across a "DIY Dino Set" from Plan Toys at www.plantoys.com #43400. I don't remember where I read the post from which thread, but hopefully this will reach you. Also I don't know how old your dd is, but these I believe you can take apart and put together...but it is very simple.

I don't know who that was but that is kind of you to think of her!

My daughter loves dinosaurs as well, we have these:
http://www.ptolemytoys.co.uk/amazing...+BY+price+DESC

Found the same ones in the US:
http://www.moolka.com/jzv/prod/9207/...rus?p=YzE9MzYw

I also saw some of these at rosiehippo.com

Just a question, how old were your LOs when they started to like these little wooden figurines?

Mine has always had them though her interest comes and goes. I know it sounds simple but it makes a difference to get the types of figures that suit their interests already.
For instance my daughter has some beautiful Ostheimer children, birds and tree and they just sit on her dresser and are never played with! Her dinosaurs are played with all the time as she loves dinosaurs of any kind.
I'd say it was around the age of three that she really started to do imaginary scenario type play with them.

My daughter too! Her love for dinosaurs began around 18 months, and she's 25 months now. And dinosaurs are still her absolute *favorite*. She still has 3 plastic dinosaurs from a group of 6 that MIL bought when DD was about 6 months old. We also have the Melissa & Doug Chunky Puzzle dinosaur set, and she loves those. They are a lot more affordable than the Moolka dinosaurs, but obviously not as beautiful.

Oh those are so cute. I'm adding that on to my wish list of things to get. We have some osteimer animals and a few bully land ones (german made plastic ones) but my boys are mostly in to trains, planes, cars and boats. They spend ALL DAY playing with vehicles but I keep getting other stuff here and there just in case it will strike their interest.

I don't have the time to search but I know http://www.babygadget.net/ featured some cute wooden ones before.
