After our bumpy start BF has been going well for almost 9 months now - yeah!! I have a little problem now though. My right nip has a tiny, pencil tip size spot that almost looks like a pimple - right in the center of the nipple. It looks to be filled with an off-white fluid. I've tried nursing a lot on that side, pumping, warm showers with water running over that nip, nothing is helping. And it HURTS!!! The rest of my nipple is ok, but if you touch over that spot I nearly see stars. And latching on is horrible, but then the feeding is ok.

Any thoughts? I have no idea what this could be and I want it gone!!

When I had dried milk it kind of looked like that, but it didn't hurt the nipple, it just made part of my boob become painfully engorged. Maybe TMI: I squeezed the nipple and the dried milk came out - like a piece of white sand. Then nusring cleared the engorgement. What you have sounds different... I am not sure. Maybe check kellymom?
