Okay, I have wanted to make the switch to mineral makeup and thought I was making a good choice by trying brands with no parabens, talc or bismuth oxychloride. Now I'm reading about nano particles being potentially harmful. I have found one brand that claims 'No nanos', so I am thinking of going with that one. Is there anything else I should be aware of??? :

thanks

I have made the switch over all mineral makeup, except mascara, and I use signature minerals which does not use micronized minerals See this link http://www.signatureminerals.com/faq-ingredients.html

And I do also use Lumiere minerals http://www.lumierecosmetics.com/index.php
and their make up seems the same as signature minerals although it does not say on their that thay do not use them.

I also use sheer miracle finishing powder in glow and their site also does not say if they do or not. But they are a part of the www.safecosmetics.org, so maybe that site will be able to help you.
http://www.sheermiracle.com/

I just wanted to say that I LOVE mineral makeup and will never use anything ever again. My face does not break out at all now, something that has not happened since before I hit puberty. And I never have that mask look at my jaw line like I always did before. I am a natural red head and have very ruddy skin and this stuff makes me seem perfectly even and blends so naturally into my neck. If you do try the mineral make up, I have to say that getting a good brush is a must. I have the Buki brush from signature minerals and it is so soft and blends so much better than the cheap brush I was using from wal mart. ok that's enough, I can go on for while about how much I love mineral makeup!
