If you were involved in my "potty pause" post I just wanted to give an update. For the past week I have caught at least one pee. I know this doesn't sound like great news but we were in such a potty pause that Ic ouldn't even get DS to sit or stand or anything. What heped getting back on the little pig potty was nursing...thanks to everyone who suggested that. I can also stand him in the tub and he will pee...I didn't want to that initially b/c once in the tub he wants a bath and never wants to get out but he has been understadning or something that when I stand him it is pee time not bath time. I didn't think it would work but it did.

I totally wrote a response to this like the day after you wrote it....guess I never got around to hitting 'submit'...

I'm glad to hear that some things are getting sorted out. How are things going these days??

Hi there, and welcome to the Potty Pause Club. So far, my 14 month old and I haven't potty'ed in over 2 weeks. I've caught 2 pees on the patio and nothing else. zero. zip. zilch. nada. I am washing diapers nearly every day now. He still fusses and gripes when he needs to pee, but refuses to do so on the potty, in the tub, the sink, or when cued naked on the sidewalk. soooooo, on we go into cooler weather, fully diapered and covered.
