Oh jeez, now that y'all have gotten me started!

My daughter has taken to solids like it's no one's business.

The other day she had blueberries. Oh dear me. She had the blackest poo I ever saw. Mix with the blackest poo on earth, the whole teething/breastmilk poo fun.. and now one of my last WHITE WHITE diapers that I forgot to get back to the service people is stained with black (I use mostly unbleached prefolds, but for some reason I like it when one of the white ones pops up in my stack).

How do I get out this stain?

I would set it outside in the sun. It works like a charm!

yup - sun it baby!! I love the sun...it is a diaper's best friend.

Ok, just setting it out in the sun doesn't do much for me. Take fresh lemon or fresh lime juice and squeeze it all over the stain.. do this on the prefold when it's dry and then set it out in the sun all day. That should help tremendously.

I have found the sun works best for me if the item is wet...it doesn't take as long to sun it out.

Right, but for stubborn stains when you're adding lemon or lime juice you need to have it dry because the water dilutes the lemon or lime juice.
