The Code of Federal Regulations defines "foster care" as the "24-hour substitute care for children outside their own homes." Some common foster care environments include relative foster homes, non-relative foster care homes, pre-adoptive homes, and group homes.
No matter the setting, foster children, families and organization needs all the help they can get as resources are often limited. Help comes in all forms - monetary donations, item donations, volunteering, and more.
We've compiled a list of websites in every state across the U.S. that exist to help foster children and foster families. If you know of anymore organizations to add to the list, please share them in the comments. Together we can make a difference!
