that was terrible and traumatic...and far what purpose, exactly?? to have them practice laying still??

that is one of the most horrible things I have read involving schools. I hope every last teacher gets fired who was involved with that. Such poor judgment indeed!

I wonder how they would feel if on some random day someone pretended to come at them with a gun just to see how they would respond, especially if they had THEIR children with them.

It's one thing to have a "mock" drill and let the kids KNOW it's a mock drill. But that's absurd. I bet there will be lawsuits stemming from this!
