Thought I would ask you ladies & see if anyone is having this happen too. Every once and a while I will get this short sharp pain, really down low. Almost like an electrical spark, sort of. Not sure if it is on my cervix or in my bladder. Anyone else having this??
At the midwife I had traces of blood in my urine, but she was not concerned about this. Now this wierd feeling. Could it be a bladder infection? I bought cranberry juice last night & will start that. I need to go to the health food store & pick up some cranberry capsules, along with vitamin C. My cold is back. Anyone use Grapefruit seed extract for bladder infections?
Thanks Ladies.

I doubt a bladder infection would have short sharp pains. I have no clue what it could be, but I think a lot of time the short sharp types are no cause for concern. I've had some pains that were quick and sharp like that, and it felt like I was pulling a muscle or something. Also, I would say if it feels electrical, it probably could be. Do you have a accupuncturist or anything like that. I bet they would be able to help more than a more western type of practitioner. KWIM?

ANyway, good luck, sweetie, I hope its nothing.

I'll bet It's your ligaments stretching. What you described sounds exactly like what I experienced with both pregnancies only it was much worse with the secnond. Definately check it out but it doesn't sound worrisom to me.

Thanks ladies. I have been pounding fluids and that seems to help a bit. I will call my midwife later today. Take Care.

I agree with Mamajama - ligament stretching.

Thank you ladies so much. I did call my midwife. She said possible ligament streching, a uti or even cervix dialating, but seriously doubted that. I do to, I tried checking myself & it is very high, could not even reach it. I think it was a beginning uti, and I have been drinking fluids like a fish & am on my way to the health food store for vit c, echinachea, cranberry pills & some tea. I really feel my immune system is low, and my midwife said all of the above is ok.
Thanks again ladies. Have a good one.
