I spent two months decluttering the house and the basement to get ready for reno's. I decluttered our bedroom and decorated it so nicely. I was doing a daily chore list to keep on top of things. The house was looking great. We are not in the middle of reno's and I can't take the clutter and mess anymore.

Half the kitchen has been installed. There is a problem matching up our stain for the cubbards. I have not kitchen sink so I can't cook anything because the thought of doing lots of dishes in our pedistle sink or bathtub is too much. I have no kitchen floor and soon no carpet. The basement is in the mudding/taping stage. I have kitchen staples in my bedroom closet and all over the floor. I have dishes stacked in my wall unit in the living room. I have laundry tucked in every nook and crany.

I'm going insane!!!! I want to clean and organize, but I can't.

I know how it feels! My last year of college I lived with my parents for six months while they rennovated their kitchen. The kitchen was of course destroyed (this is the type of rip out the walls, cathedral the ceiling total gutting sort of thing). The dining room was of course filled with everything from the kitchen (and it was the dining room wall that was moved, so it was partially gutted) and the cabinets and remodelling stuff. The family room was below the kitchen, and it had to have the ceiling ripped out to put in the radiant heat. The formal living room was of course off limits as it was my mother's nice living room she always wanted when we were little.

So, we had the option of hte laundry room (which was used as the kitchen) or our bedrooms - there was no where else in the house to be!

Just focus on the end product - it will be finished eventually and you'll be able to enjoy your house again!
