Oh poor sweetie! I was trying to look around for you yesterday but then I ran out of free time. Hope she's better soon!

Oh man. I had salmonella when I was 7. I still remember the pain in my stomach, it was horrible. I never felt more miserable. Keep her well hydrated, lots and lots. I was sick for over a week and lost 15 pounds! Hugs to both of you.

Oh man, that sucks <img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="http://www.mothering.com/discussions/images/smilies/greensad.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="greensad">. Poor baby! Poor mama!!<br><br>
FWIW, next time someone tells you not to nurse because of intestinal illness (vomiting, etc), kindly tell them that BM is a clear fluid and will keep her hydrated so you'll continue to nurse. I can't believe they told you not to nurse and then gave her an IV and water when she got dehydrated! <img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="http://www.mothering.com/discussions/images/smilies/angry.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="angry">
