"Today measles is nearly gone in the United States. However the vast majority of the cases that do occur are among people who have been immunized."

"In 1998 a record low of one hundred cases and no deaths were reported. In the years 1989 thru 1991, however, there was an outbreak of measles that affected 53,632 people and caused 123 deaths. This outbreak apparently occured when the first generation of measles vaccinated mothers gave birth to babies. These babies did not have the protection of maternal antibodies that can be transferred to babies whose mothers have naturally recovered from the disease."

"In the pe-vaccine days the average age of infections was four to five years.Today children ages ten to fourteen are most affected, followed by those 5 to 9 years and then by 15 to 19 years old."

So essentially all this vax has done is push up the age by some years .

Symptoms of measles are as follows:hacking cough, fatigue, sore throat, runny nose, conjunctivitis and fever. Whooppee!
4 days after the symptoms rash appears......whooppee again!!!

"Between 6 and 8 percent of people who get measles also get pneumonia, ear infection or diarrhea. In rare cases, (1 out of 1000) the measles virus affects the brain and causes inflammation (encephalitis). One out of 1000 people with measles die."

"Mumps like measles , is a viral disease that usually occurs in childhood and early adolescence. ...it is not as contagious as measles."

Same idea as measles but mostly affects the salivary gland which causes the cheeks to puff out. No info on death from mumps.....because it apparently does not happen.Never say never there just was no stats as there was for other diseases.

"the Mayo Vaccine Research group to say that,'the apparent paradox is thar as measles immunization rates rise to high levels in population, measles becomes a disease of immunized persons'," Hmmmmm.........

"Several studies show an increase in the number of mumps cases soon after the required mumps immunization began. One study looked at an outbreak in 1991 in Tennessee among jr high and high school students.Of the 68 cases of mumps that occured 67 had been vaccinated. Before the mumps vaccine became mandatory in the school in 1988 mumps had been uncommon in that area. In fact from 1971 to 1979 there were only 85 cases and none had been reported in the 80's."

MMR vaccine is linked to gastro-diseases like Crohns disease,Guillain Barre syndrome, encephalopathy,IBS,colitis and of course autism.

The varicella vaccine (chix pox) isolated the virus from the blood of a three year old Japanese boy, then weakened the virus by growing it in human embryo lung cells, and guinea pig and human cell cultures.

Hope this helps a bit....this was all taken from reading or exactly quoted from the book "What your doctor may not tell you about childrens vaccinations" by Stephanie Cave,MD F.A.A.F.P.

http://www.twbookmark.com/authors/21...al_praise.html

Also, there is no aborted fetus in the current Polio vaccine, but the 3 types of polio virus used in this vaccine is grown in African green monkey kidney cells.

Stats on such can be misleading. A book on the subject that talks about the risks/benefits on each side of the vax issue is Vaccinations: A Thoughtful Parent's Guide: How to Make Safe, Sensible Decisions about the Risks, Benefits, and Alternatives by Aviva Jill Romm. I'm currently reading it and it is very well researched.

I don't know about the injuried from vax's part. But for numbers on Measles, Mumps, Rubella here are a few, from the CDC's website.

2002
Measles = record low 44 cases. Of these, 18 cases were imported (contracted in other countries) and 15 more cases were a result of exposure to these 18 cases. So total of 33 from imported cause.

The majority of the cases were in infants too young to receive the vaccine. 18 cases. The other large group was people over 20 years old. 19 cases.

So basically they were too young, or had probably had the vax and it no longer worked.

Chicken pox (another vax with aborted cells in it) 2002
9 people died in 2002. only 3 were children, the other 6 were adults.

2003 2004
Measles 53 (22 imported) 30 (16 imported)
Mumps 212 227
Rubella 7 11
Congenital rubella 1 none (pregnancy related)

All those numbers are just people who contracted the disease... It doesn't say that anyone died from it.
