I was wondering where I can buy decent price organic stuff (I heard about coops but not sure what they are). I remember seeing a delivery sometime but the shipping is what made me wonder if it was worth it. Is there a group that orders organics and it ships to a spot where it can be picked up. Any type of information I would like.

I want to buy more organic produce but they are expensive. Right now we only buy organic carrots, apples, bananas and free roaming chicken(for those times to we eat it). We buy those from the Wholesale Food Store downtown Baltimore and Giants(bananas there are cheaper)

I would even buy from local farmers if they do not use all those chemicals and pesticides.

TIA

What about a co-op? The delicious organics only delivers to FL. I'm looking for a co-op (it's too late for me to join the CSA near me) that sells bulk grains, etc. Does anyone do this around Annapolis/Crofton?
