I see that you all get bothered with the suspecting twins threads alot so I apologize in advance but my numbers are making me nervous.
I had a m/c on oct 20th and had to have a u/s on Nov 14th for pain. There was no baby then but the tech said it looked like I would O soon.I took an opk the next couple of days and on the 16th I got a +.Then on the Sunday after I got a strong Pg + (23rd)

so I called my ob who had me come in for blood work.at 9dpo my # were 116 and at 15 dpo they were 1900! The nurses were laughing saying that they were great.one nurse said that I was farther along but I am SURE of my dates because of that US.My progesterone is 26
I guess my question is do any of you remember your numbers?are mine high?

Thanks in advance

mini: I'm pregnant with twins and my betas were 239 at 14dpo and 497 at 16dpo. Based on other twin mom betas, I'd say I'm at the middle-lower side of the range that I've seen-- some people had lower numbers, many had higher. If you're sure about your ovulation/conception dates, those are definitely on the multiples side!

Betas really can't tell you anything, as you'll be told a thousand times. I've seen lots of "holy cow" beta numbers that turned out to be one baby. But I know it's hard not to obsess, and since I know my numbers, I'll fuel your thirst for info.

12 DPO - 59, progesterone 12.5
18 DPO - 1229
25 DPO - 17009

Don't know the progesterone from the later tests.

I hope you get the number of babies you want!

I agree. It is certainly fun to think about, though. My betas were lower than those of most moms of singletons I know - 99 at 13dpo and 210 at 15dpo, and I have triplets!

Mine too. My first pregnancy began as triplets but based on hcg numbers you never would have guessed it since they were very low even for a singleton baby. Even with my twins my numbers we average for a singleton mom. My sister, who just recently had a baby, had hcg number of 899 at 14 days and at 16 days 5,327. Just goes to show that each person's body makes hcg at a level that's normal for them and you can't count on hcg numbers to tell you if your having more than one.

I can't recall the exact #s, but i was smack dab in the middle of "normal" for a singleton. It was a huge surprise at the u/s that there were 3 even though I was huge and believed there were 2.

Good luck!
