If you put a wool liner under a doubler, and the doubler gets wet, does the pee soak through the liner to the diaper? Or does the wool pretty much keep the pee confined to the doubler and away from the actual diaper?

I just started using these! Well, I have one, lol. Most of the pee stays in the wool liner. I use a fitted diaper, then the wool liner, then a fleece topped doubler. The wool soaks up alot, so the diaper does get wet but not soaking, if that makes sense. I've only used the wool for nighttime, so maybe in a daytime diaper it would soak up more (because you won't leave the diaper on for 12 hours) and keep the diaper dry. I love the wool liner.

I often use a wool liner in a pocket diaper under a CPF (and sometimes under a regular doubler). It really forces the doubler or CPF to absorb everything it can. Then the wool begins absorbing the moisture. Eventually the diaper will get wet too, if there's enough pee. But I've found the I have mostly damp diapers when using the liners overnight.

If I'm just laying a doubler in a diaper with a wool liner underneath, I'll often use a regular doubler and a fleece liner so there's not so much moisture right next to my DS's skin. Or I might use two doublers and make sure the top one is fleece-topped.
