Can someone please tell me the wieghts and their uses? Like are fingering, lace, and sock weight the same? What is the standard weight for soakers/longies. I have only evr used Patons or Lions brand, but am now ready for the 'good stuff' from online stores. I ordered some beautiful yarn, and mistakenly ordered fingering weight. I was able to make it into capris for dd, using two strands at the same time. I actually really like the weight of those over the thicker stuff, but it's not for a heavy wetter. HELP!
