DD and I always bathe together and for the first time in like 2 years she pooped in the tub. I didn't notice for like 15-20 minutes since the water was cloudy with soap (natural stuff). Should I be worried? We showered off afterwards, so surface wise I should be okay. I'm just worried since I'm preggo. I see my MW tomorrow anyway, but am freaking a bit tonight (hiding that fact from DD )

Thanks!

What are you worried about, exactly? Bacteria in the poop hurting your baby? Your dd probably doesn't have any diseases you are worried about contracting. You said you rinsed off well, and you were probably sure your hands were clean, so I wouldn't worry much about the bacteria. If anything, the bacteria would make *you* sick, but that is very unlikely. Your baby is well protected from bacteria and germs.

BTW-- all of my kids have pooped in the tub atleast once. I guess they get so relaxed in there!

As long as you didn't like...douche with the poop water ( )the bacteria shouldn't have entered the vagina. You'll be fine, I'm sure.

Ok, whew! That's what I was worried about - bacteria entering my vagina and causing an infection. I figured the mucus plug should protect from it going any further, but wasn't sure. Also worried about the ramifications of getting a vaginal infection while pg.
