Hi Mamas!

I said I would post this earlier in the week, but I ended up with a nasty case of food poisoning on Monday, so I am just getting back around to life.

Anyhoooo, I added a more pictures to Anika's NB diaper album. A few more newborn sized diapers and AIOs as well as the three one size dipes we have. She will be two weeks old tomorrow and probably still near her birthweight of 7 pounds 10 ounces (but maybe a little more!). The newest pics are at the very end. If anyone wants me to make a new album with just the One Size dipes since you have seen the others, please just let me know!

Anika's NB diaper pics

I hope these are useful in making your NB diaper choices.
I do have even a few more to take pictures of, so I will post when I get them up.

Oh, and I am still madly in love with my KHW diapers! I grab those before any others. Those and the wool are totally rocking my world.

OMG! She's just so sweet! I wish I hadn't been so stunned after having DS that I let DH decide that we were using sposies. DS is so cute in his cloth now (he's 14 months though!). I look at your pics and I am so jealous that we don't have pics like those! We have cute pics, don't get me wrong, but we don't have cloth dipe bum pics!

Wow, that was really cool to look at!!

I loved seeing the different dipes (especially the ones I have in my stash!!)

She's a cutie pie and soooo cooperative!
I think Libby would've been crying in most of those pics! Anika's a pro!

Wow... just plain WOW!

Your little girl is just beautiful
and such an excellent model. Hard to believe C was like that 2+mo ago. He's already in mediums, and didn't start out too much bigger.

Thanks for sharing.

Wow that is really cool! What an awesome comparison of all the dipes! And it does confirm my thought that I would never (personally) have my newborn wear one-sizes, I just can't stand the bulk (but perhaps for nighttime, LOL!!). Is your DD long? I'm surprised at how low the rise seems to be in so many of the dipes and it's a bit scary bc DS was 21 1/4 in long and 8lbs 2 oz....I have 35 nb dipes and I hope I get to use them for a little while!!

Thanks for sharing that! I loved looking at the diapers - and the pictures of your darling baby! I have a bunch of pics of my dd Cathlin in her first cloth diapers but she was a few months old.

I am going to check out a few I saw that I liked - thanks again : )

WOW I can't even tell you how much that helped me!! I have about a dozen newborn diapers and that cinched it for me that I have enough and should get smalls or size 1's now! Not that they look too big, but you said your DD was like 7 lbs 10 oz right? my last baby was 9 lbs 4 oz so I may get a week or two out of those diapers! I have 'tons' of infant prefolds and some preemie ones too, so these pictures help me out a lot! I do have some one sized diapers but I don't think I will be using those much either, they are Joe's.
Thanks again! ADORABLE baby!

Hmm, do you mean do I think they will fit the full size range? Well www.granolamoms.com says 6-15 pounds - and I really think that is probably correct. In fact, they are so absorbant that I think they will actually be *useful* on a 15 pounder too, if YKWIM. I will report back on that as she grows.

I love the warm heart woolies! Her knitting looks so perfect! What wool yarn did she use?
Aww, thanks!
I LOVE the WHW too! I am not sure WHAT the yarn is, but it is SO soft and her knitting really IS perfect! I can't find a single flaw anywhere and the yarn is so nice that it really shows off the perfect knitting. I would recommend her in a heartbeat!

She was 20 inches at birth, so about that length in all of the pics. I think the rise is low on many of them simply because many are designed to go below the cord.
I am glad the pic helped!

I am so glad they helped Marnie! With a baby that size, smalls are your best bet, I would think. Yes, she was about 7,10 at birth and about that in all the pics. Honestly, I am sure there are a lot of smalls that she can wear now too. In fact, you should go with smalls if only for the absorbancy! Most NB dipes are DRENCHED after one pee. And while most of us change at every pee, there are going to be times when you can't (ie. in the car or during a nap or something), so it is nice having extra absorbancy for those times.
