is there really alot of wicking?? Do most people opt to just have the PUL as an outer on an AIO?? I just love cute prints and want to have them over the boing PUL!!
YES! There is lots of wicking. You might as well just make a fitted if you like pretty prints.
Have not tried what twouglyducks said though.
But what I have done was flannel, 2 layers of hidden pul and a cotton outer. I've tried to make it 100 different ways with no luck
If you do find a way, PLEASE let me know, because I would love to be able to do that as well.
I am about to try that this evening to make some "nightime panties" for dd as she doesn't want to wear diapers at night anymore. "I just wanna wear panties mama!" LOL! I'll let you know how they work...
I make my covers the exact same way (except I use ProCare) and never had a problem with the covers, but problems with diapees like you wouldn't believe!
I had wicking problems doing this until I made the soaker a snap in soaker insted of a hidden soaker. It centralized the wetness insted of it spreading to the legs. I dont have that problem with covers though, but they dont get as wet insdie to cause the wicking.
